In recent news, Jon Favreau has been signed as executive producer and writer for 'a new live action star wars series'

The news came out of the blue and a surprise to most.

His role was announced just 24hours ago via multiple sources but primarily through the official @starwars Twitter page.

Skeptical fans were quick to judge whether or not Favreau is suitable for the role he has to take on.
